: City resident and many tourists are using water taxi called abra to go from one side of the creek to another one (Deira and Bur Dubai, both having souk to visit). This is the cheapest way to make a tour on the creek.

: Khasab is a city in an exclave of Oman bordering the United Arab Emirates. It is the local capital of the Musandam peninsula and has frequently been dubbed the “Norway of Arabia” because of its extensive fjord-like craggy inlets and desolate mountainscapes. It is located about 550 km from Muscat and less than 200 km from Dubai. It has a population of 20,000 residents. It is also a popular weekend destination for people living in the Emirates and for many other tourists for a visit of the Fjords on traditional Dhows and see dolphins.

: Cayan Tower, known as Infinity Tower prior to its inauguration, is a 306-metre-tall (1,004 ft), 73-story skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by Cayan Real Estate Investment and Development. The tower is designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill SOM architectural group, the same group who did the concept design for the Burj Khalifa, also in Dubai, and Trump Tower in Chicago. Upon its opening on 10 June 2013, the tower became world’s tallest high-rise building with a twist of 90 degrees.

: The Arabian toad-headed agama (Phrynocephalus arabicus) is a member of the Agamidae family, also known as the chisel-teeth lizards due to the compressed, fused teeth being firmly attached to the upper jaw, unlike most other lizards which have loosely attached teeth. He was posing close to a flower in the Desert of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He was hunting flies and was not disturb at all by my presence giving me the opportunity to take this close-up shot.
